Cacao is a plant medicine.

What does it mean and how to work with it?

All nature is medicine. We often play with animals, get a pet, or go out into the woods to relax and connect with our inner - self. Plants are a big part of nature, and all plants carry medicine. On every single continent, in every folk story you can find proof that ancient people have been using herbs, leaves, and roots as remedies to heal and treat a wide variety of illnesses.

These types of plants are known as entheogens. Entheogens are a class of psychoactive substances, which, taken in specific doses, release naturally produced chemicals in the body that can invoke a change in perception, mood, and consciousness. Entheos translates to "full of the god, inspired, possessed," and gen (from Genesthai) means "to come into being." An entheogen, therefore, causes you to become inspired or to experience feelings of spiritual inspiration.

Cacao is one of the most potent yet gentle plant medicines. It has been used for thousands of years to support people in opening their hearts, receiving guidance, and integrating their healing process.
